Pros
- A very good value; better than expected sound at this price point
- Sound quality is fairly crisp and clear, surprisingly good bass
- A nice size/form factor
- Connection is easy and hiccup-free
- More durable than I thought it would be. Has survived drops and heat well
Cons
- A small thing, but I wish Bluetooth was the first connection option. Most phones do not have Aux/headphone connections anymore
- The message it says when the device turns off ("Axloie, my dream supporter") gets into your head. Which is probably the point, but it can't be turned off
- At this price, it would be unrealistic to expect more...but it would be nice to have even minor sound settings
My kids and I have been spending a lot of time outside lately. A couple months ago, I decided it would be nice to have a portable bluetooth speaker for when we’re out there playing. After some research, I came across the extremely well-reviewed Axloie bluetooth speaker.
For a roughly $25 speaker, this is a really impressive device. It has surprisingly good volume and I wasn’t expecting such respectable bass. The speaker’s sound quality is crisp and clear, definitely impressive for something at this price and size. It also seems to be fairly durable, as I’ve dropped on concrete a couple of times and left it in the hot sun almost daily with no apparent damage. Bluetooth pairing is quite easy, and I have yet to have any accidental disconnects or confusion about why it’s not working.
It also has some lighting effects on the top, which I don’t really care about, and a slot for an SD card, which I haven’t used. This is mostly a SiriusXM, Pandora, and Google Play speaker for me which it excels at. I’ve gotten a ton of use out of this device already and, even after only a few months, I’d consider it the best inexpensive speaker I’ve owned.

Just an update: I have been leaving this thing outside a lot lately, and accidentally let it get rained on once. Despite that, it’s still holding up well. I doubt that is “recommended” usage because I’m sure it’s not designed to be waterproof or anything. But still, I’m proud of this little device surviving my poor care.
Another update: The standby battery life on this thing is amazing. We left this in a box for months – I took it out last month, it still worked!
